 This Thai cleaver (sometimes known as "eto") is used for decorative purposes. Unfortunately at this point we are unsure about the normal use of this item, or of a regular alike looking cleaver without the crafted ornaments. Basically it is indeed a cleaver and must though be used for .. operations necessitating a cleaver, a butcher's tool. Now, why do we class it as "ritual"? Well basically because we heard stories involving water-buffaloes and the application of this instrument, we pass the details.

 Classed in our Mother Of Pearl  category, this item's grip is in fact decked with crafted mother of pearl extracted from shells and delicately applied onto the handle. Optionally, we also offer an appropriate matching display stand for the presented item on this page. The cleaver is particular by its appearance since its shape is unique to the area. Engravings on this item are nowadays done onto a stainless steel blade with the help of an electric engraver. Generally, the illustrations are  decorations.
