 These Thai daggers can be used for decorative purposes, yet besides their good appearance they are fully functional.

Classed in our Mother Of Pearl  category, these items' grips are in fact decked with crafted mother of pearl extracted from shells and delicately applied onto the handle. Optionally, we also offer an appropriate matching display stand for each presented item on this page. The offered items come in 3 sizes.

Engravings on these items are nowadays done onto stainless steel blades with the help of an electric engraver, like the blessings on the smaller item MP42 seen on the pictures. However, when decorations alone are selected as seen for item MP40 and MP41, the items offered are then exceptionally embossed by hand. Further engravings can also be applied through etching from a carbon steel blade. In short, the etching is done by inserting the blade in an acid bath after applying a sketch of the desired illustration with a protective acid resistant layer. An illustrations of item MP41 with etched blessings are shown at the bottom in the pictures' column.

Displays stands are supplied separately, thus must be ordered individually.
